I am still looking for other mummy scans that show a reed in the throat. I’ve had no luck yet, but will let everyone know when I learn more about it.

These are fascinating discoveries, thanks for sharing them with us. LIke many others, I followed Shelley's live coverage of the event on Twitter and enjoyed it reading all the behind the scenes information as well as the moment the results of the CT scan was announced: "It's a boy!" I've been waiting with anticipation on the results of the reed that was observed in the throat of mummy #4. Do we know any more abou that yet?
