Steve was going on around the same time as our tagging initiatives, but it wasn’t something that we were really looking at or considering because we wanted to take tagging in some different directions and preferred to build a custom solution so we could better adapt to our own needs. We do still use the in gallery tagging game in the building and it’s accessed through QR codes. We will be retiring it soon in favor of something a bit newer.

I am wondering if BMA still uses this tagging system and if you have found it has met your initiatives to “roam, crossover and converge.” I am studying the use of technology in museums and have just looked a the Steve Museum project. Has that experienced influenced your initiatives at all?

Thank you,
Monica Miller
