I’m delighted to share that my suitcase was a little bit heavier on my return trip from the annual meeting of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) this year: the Brooklyn Museum won two MUSE awards for ASK!
The MUSE awards “recognize outstanding achievement in Galleries, Libraries, Archives or Museums (GLAM) media..[and] are presented to institutions or independent producers who use digital media to enhance the GLAM experience and engage audiences. The MUSE awards celebrate scholarship, community, innovation, creativity, education and inclusiveness.”
I think I can speak for everyone on the team, past and present, when I say we are both humbled and grateful for the recognition (particularly given the amazing entries this year)! This is an exciting time to be working on digital projects in the field. I also want to take a moment to thank the small army of colleagues who poured their energies into developing the program and to Bloomberg Philanthropies who made it a reality. Thank you, thank you!
